Gabriel J. Smith
Gabriel J. Smith is a debut author who has recently embarked on completing a novel after dreaming of being an author since childhood. He enjoys reading and writing literary fiction, fantasy, horror, and coming-of-age stories. Following a series of transformative life experiences, his passion for writing was affirmed, leading him to pursue the goal of exploring life's complexities through creative writing. Though Banebirth is his first novel, he hopes to continue writing more stories.
Outside of writing, Gabriel is a biomedical researcher with a background in immunology and vaccine research. He enjoys life in Maryland, where he was born and raised. When he’s not writing, he can be found trying plant-based cuisines, going for runs and hikes, enjoying musical theater, exploring museums, and dabbling in painting and other crafts.
